In processes of change an independent person can more easily analyze the situation and facilitate discussions on change working towards a common plan.  Peer group coaching with an external chair can also assist individuals in a group.  In a group problems can arise between two or more colleagues. In such cases an independent person can help identify the issues and work with all parties as an intermediary towards a resolution.
